Job description, authority and responsibility

monitoring and investigating security incidents at different clients based on network and host data
analysis, evaluation and reporting of security incidents at our clients and initial incident triage
assessing the security status of clients on a daily basis
coordination with the client's IT staff in verifying alerts
documenting and escalating incidents that may impact the client's environment
support for simulated exercises to improve detection and response capabilities
using precise and analytical thinking in the execution of tasks under the guidance of seasoned experts with a lifetime of experience and knowledge

Personal qualifications and skills

general knowledge of IT (operating systems, databases, applications, networks)
proactive approach and readiness to propose new solutions
ability to face new challenges and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
analytical thinking and rapid understanding of complex systems and processes
expert skills in server administration on Windows or Linux systems
previous programming/scripting experience is a great advantage (optional)
credibility and ability to handle confidential information
continuous education and monitoring of the latest trends
