Our company takes public education in topic of information security very seriously. In Binary Confidence, we are fully aware of the importance of public awareness about information security that leads to the improvement of the overall situation and gives less chances to the criminals.

Therefore, we are always happy to respond to lecturing requests as from University of Economics in Prague. Our colleague gave a lecture on the state and private sector relation in information security that took place on 25th of November. Students received a bit broader view not only on current state of cyber defense but also had an inspirational discussion on possible scenarios where this relation could lead in future, what are the possibilities where we will be heading as to digital dictatorship or vice – versa, whether private companies will remain top leaders to keep the Internet free and safe place.

Our colleague Pavol Draxler was honored to lead the workshop at NATO Stratcom Summit in Prague which took place on October 20th – 22nd, 2016. Lecture was dedicated for organizations targeted by state actors to gain their data and breach their networks. Our company is also preparing easy guidelines of how to implement sufficient information security controls and protection for small organizations.

We were very happy to respond to a participation request at international symposium “Challenges for intelligence agencies in 21st century” that took place in Bratislava on 6th of December. Our colleague Pavol Draxler gave an interesting lecture on how cryptography can influence state and private security. Presentation went way beyond classical end to end communication encryption and deeply analyzed all developing possibilities of decentralized currencies, markets, governance 2.0 and deep web opportunities.
